Okay so I finally finished all my stamps, heres large versions of the last 2 and then a lovely piccy of the whole set.......lets get postal bitches!!

STAMP COLLECTING.....

Okay so one of the many pieces of work I have to do at uni at the moment is designing a set of stamps. They run along the theme of British firsts. After an age of research and terrible ideas I gave up!

What is the most British thing i can think of? I looked at my hands in dispare.....a fag no that just wont do a cup of tea.....now we're talking!

So heres some history for you peeps......

In the 1840s, the British habitually ate just twice a day: breakfast and dinner in the evening. Anna Russell, the 7th Duchess of Bedford, complained of 'having that sinking feeling' as the afternoon wore on, and had the bright idea of enjoying a pot of tea, becoming a popular beverage at that time, in the afternoon, accompanied by a light snack. Thusly high tea was born, not just a British first but a world first, thanks to the British obsession with tea.
